You will probably notice that I kind of liked this technique! 
I got the idea for these lovely little cards from a card I pinned on Pinterest. I loved how the card was so simple and full of color! In fact, I loved it so much, I decided to make a few different cards using the different flowers from the flower shop stamp set!
Here is the first card.
This is my miracle card! I was demonstrating this card at club yesterday and just as I finished stamping my Pistachio Pudding flowers my son began one of those terrifying blood curdling screams. He and my daughter were playing upstairs happily until this happened, so I ran upstairs to find out it was merely a bloody nose. I guess all the blood must have terrified him. Amazingly, my card came out perfectly! No blood drops, no smeared images….it was all okay.
And my heart got a good little race in for the day, too!
After everyone was gone, my daughter decided she wanted to make one, also. I let her pick the colors using the ink pads we had used during our club meeting, so this is the color combo she came up with. It turned out quite lovely, I think!
Wand made not just one, but two projects!
How gorgeous is this pumpkin? She used the scallop circle die cut, the Island Oasis leaves and the Elegant Lines embossing folder. As if this wasn’t wonderful enough, she showed us how you can make two envelope liners using the envelope punch board!!! I’ll see if I can share that later – maybe next week.
Here’s a closup of this darling little turkey! So cute – uses the owl punch, the star punch, and a scallop circle punch. Adorable!
I recently used Santa’s List to make a couple of cards. I don’t know what it is about big Santa Claus images, but I just love them! I knew I had to have this set for just that very reason. I love all of the texture in the image.
My 7 year old daughter actually painted the Santa with a mixture of Real Red re-inker, Crystal Effects, and Dazzling Diamonds. I made another card that I colored with the same mixture and added even more texture. I will have to retake pictures of it, though, because my phone pics are not syncing to my computer lately!

I made these projects a while back, but I am just now getting around to sharing the finished projects. I made all of the above projects using the Wahoo September Paper Pumpkin kit.
Here is the card that the original project idea gave in the photo. I like this card pretty well.
Now….being the scrappy person I am, I decided I wanted to use mine to create a scrapbook page. I was inspired to create this page based on another project I saw by Rachel Tessman. I loved her idea of using the target as a spider web instead! Plus, I loved matching the googly eyes on my stamps to the googly eyes on Halleigh’s spider crown and Owen’s monster face.
If you look really closely you will see that this is just the card flattened out and used as a photo mat here.
I was inspired by some other pinterest project to create this card using my Expressions hostess set and one of the photopolymer stamp sets.
Finally, I completely cased this adorable idea I saw on the My Paper Pumpkin Challenge site. I LOVED this idea! How cute is this?
I can’t wait for the next Paper Pumpkin to come in the mail….it should be here this weekend!!!
Did you miss me? Probably not, I would guess! Every year from mid-October until about Veteran’s Day my life gets a little on the hectic side to say the least. I spend every waking moment working my tail end off for school, programs, treat bags, and birthday parties! I have been scrapping and cardmaking – quite a bit, actually, I just have literally not sat down at the computer long enough to blog about anything!
Needless to say, it’s time for me to relax a bit and share some of my fun creations! I’ll start first with a few of the creations from our last club meeting.
I’ll start first with Hannah – she made this gorgeous shadow frame for someone for their birthday. I absolutely love it.
