Thank you cards
Here are a few thank you cards that I made for some of our members of a music teachers group I am in, Kentucky Orff Schulwerk Association. They did such a great job, I just wanted to let them know how much I appreciated them!Thursday, January 29, 2009
Stuck Sketch
I found this blog called Stuck!http://stucksketches.blogspot.com/
It's a great blog with a weekly sketch to inspire you in your scrapbook pages. So I took the sketch and added a second page since I always like to do double page layouts. Here's what I came up with:

Zoo go round
I saw this sketch a little more than a week ago and had a few ideas spinning around in my head. I just kept letting them whirl around and finally went with just that idea. The pictures below were taken at the Louisville Zoo while we were on the train and the carousel, so I decided to let the pictures look like they were riding on the carousel. Going with that idea, I decided to use some coordinating buttons to create the top lines of the carousel and the animal die cuts as the "horses." Halleigh thought we needed a gorilla, but, oh well...Monday, January 19, 2009
Lookin' for a good time? Join my Stampin' Up club!
Have you been looking for a fun time to get together and make projects? Our monthly Stampin' Up club is a terrific time every month! We have 12 members in our current club and 10 members have shown up at each of the last club meetings.
I am currently looking for new members of a second club. If there are 10 or more people interested in participating in the club, each member will only have to purchase $15 of product each month to participate. Then, on your month, you get to enjoy all the benefits of being a hostess! In addition, you get 2 free #1 ranked idea books and catalogues each year as a fringe benefit! What better way to meet new people, get great ideas each month, and spend time having fun doing your favorite hobbies?
I must say that just like all the other ladies in our current club, I look forward to each and every club meeting! Why not join now? If I can get 10 members interested in starting a new club, I will give away a brand new stamp set to one of those ten brand new members! Email me or sign up on my Stampin' Up website today!

Sweet Stems Votive Holder
Here is a votive holder that I CASED from http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/gallery/photo/822529?cat=fav
to make for our club meeting. I was trying to work in just a little bit more purple for Britani! I thought she could use the same kind of design, but use other stamps for her wedding and use that as a very inexpensive centerpiece idea for her guest tables.
Well, what do you think?
