Life...live like you mean it

Everyday life with my favorite little darling. As you can see, there is never a dull moment with Halleigh! Using the new hostess set Live Like You Mean It, made stamping really simple. I like the way the 2 step stamping doesn't have to be perfect, but it looks really good together. I'm going to use the white block on the left for journaling. I love how the Bella Rose DS paper looks so pretty together. I heat embossed the saying on the right page so it would stand out on the red floral paper.

First Stampin' Up Party

Carla Wells hosted our first Stampin' Up club event of the year. The party was a terrific success with 7 people showing up. We had terrific homemade pizza and, of course, Carla's masterful creations for dessert. We loved Carla's new home and her inspirational scrappin' area with a view of the spacious back yard.

I'm going to post our projects that we made - the first was a gift bag using the Fun and Fast Notes stamp set. I used the word window punch for and the 3 flower punch for the window. I colored the bird with my watercolor pencils and blender pens.
At the top is a tri-fold picture holder that can stand alone or be used as an embellishment on a scrapbook page. I used the Enjoy Every Moment stamp set and used VersaMark ink to heat emboss the images on vellum.
Enjoy!
