Stamp a Stack card

Well, here is another card we are going to use for our Stamp a Stack class. Simple, yet unique. I cased this sketch from a few cards I saw on http://splitcoaststampers.com I like being able to create a pretty card like this using my punches and scraps. The joy stamp is from last year's Perfect Presentation set. The paper comes from the I Wish Christmas Simply Scrappin' kit.

Halleigh's birthday

Since Halleigh's birthday is coming up, I decided to use my Party Hearty set to create the party inviations. I love how I made my own patterned paper using my Stampin' Wheel with the Baroque Border.

Christmas joy card

Well, I gave in and bought the Christmas Creations book from Papercrafts. I'm such a sucker for their books! I just love to get new ideas and sketches for projects. Not that my projects ever look the same, but I love to get inspiration from magazines! That being said, the new magazine was the inspiration for this card. I used some scraps from the Christmas Simply Scrappin' kit, real red background, ink, and ribbon, and my lovely Snow Swirled set. I just love how the sticker defines what brings me joy...to be with my loved ones! Now, off to play with some new product! Yippee!

I just love this picture of Halleigh - the sheer innocence of childhood evokes such fond memories each time I look at it. I'd say that is a great start to my next scrapbook. I went back to the 8 1/2 X 11" size this time. Just trying something a little different. I forgot that this one was horizontal, though - it's a good thing I remembered before I finished my layout, huh?!

The stamps are from the "Flight of the Butterfly" set and the embossing is from the "Priceless" stencil. My paper is from the leftover scraps of my last layout using Bella Rose.

Daddy's Girl

Here is the last layout in yet another scrapbook...I sure wish scrapbooks had more pages - either that or the refills were easier to load and find! I didn't have all the perfectly matching papers, ribbons and embellishments, but I thought this page turned out okay. I am going to finish the journaling when my Chocolate Chip marker comes in. Halleigh decided she likes blueberry muffins from Baxter's!

Birthday scrapbook page

Hannah, a new stamper and scrapper, just had a party on Friday night, so this is the birthday scrapbook page that I made for her using the same Birthday Whimsy set. I just love adding the glitter into the "white" spaces of the cake!

The "recipe" for this page was inspired by the fall sketch posted by Stampin' Up. I added the circle cutout in the photo mat to complement my circle accent by using my circle Coluzzle.

Toby's birthday

Toby's birthday was Saturday, so here is the card I (finally!) finished making for him. I used an old birthday set from this past year - Birthday Whimsy. I used the tip of my Aquapainter with some Future Floor Finish to add the orange Pearl-Ex to make it somewhat sparkly. I thought I would try to use my Word Window punch to create a buckle that opens the card. Happy Birthday, baby! I love you!

Christmas card kit for the Stamp-a-phobics!

Well, now you can see I am making up for lost time on my blog! This is a kit I am making for any of you who want cute handmade Christmas cards but don't have time to stamp. I will do all the cutting and scoring for you - all you have to do is fold and stick and you are done! I made this cute box that is at the top and 12 adorable cards like you see at the very top in just an hour! Now that is lightning speed for me! Stamp-a-Stack class

Can you tell I got a few new stamp sets in? I think the Snow Swirled set is just so elegant! I think it is a very popular set right now. I am thinking about using this card as one of my cards for my Stamp-a-Stack event on November 2. Butterfly box

Can you tell I've been a little busy this week? I can't believe I haven't posted in this long! Anyway, I had 3 Stampin' Up events this week, so I hardly had time to get my things together, much less post.

Needless to say, I got a new stamp set in - Flight of the Butterfly. I just love how it looks with the Cameo Coral and Ruby Red colors. While it's not the same exact size as the butterfly on the Priceless dry embossing template, I thought it really looked cute with the embossed butterfly below it.

I made another one at my workshop Friday night using Tempting Turquoise and Chocolate Chip. I even added a Chocolate Chip background using the Stampin' Around wheel - it was too cute!

Fall Scarecrow and bleached fence

I got my new Aquapainters in and decided to play with them! I have been reading about how you can bleach the color out of a piece of paper to do the opposite of coloring a stamped image. I guess this is a testament to the high quality of SU's cardstock! I bleached this fence on pumpkin pie paper at least 6 times and it still only turned out yellow! I guess that's okay, though - it's still a good fall color. I'm going to use this little 5 X 7 frame for a sweet little picture of Halleigh playing in the fall leaves. Won't that be darling?

Sweet Always layout

Admittedly, I will have to say I have not figured out how to get a good picture of a 2-page 12X12 layout, so if anyone has any tips, please feel free to share. My scanner is only large enough to handle 8 1/2 X 11 inch items, so it is no good for these pictures.
This is a layout of this past Easter (yes I'm still on Easter!). I have had this cute little stamped bunny for the longest time after participating in a card swap for Papercrafts magazine. I thought it would make a cuter embellishment for my Easter page, though! I just loved using the new Sweet Always designer paper for my page. My mom couldn't believe I was using orange on an Easter layout, but I thought it turned out okay! I am loving the new scallop edge punch, too...
The layout for the first picture on the left hand page is the basic layout for our 5 X 7 page we will be making during our club meeting on Sunday. As you can see, it makes a great frame for a cute picture of my favorite little bunny!

New Decor Elements

I recently received a sample of Stampin' Up's new Decor Elements line. Since I was in the mood to decorate for fall, I decided to use my sample on a glass jar. Decor Elements work like super duper rub-ons! It took me about 3 minutes to put this on my jar. I filled my jar with fall leaves and sunflowers and then I can change it out whenever the seasons and holidays change. Or, then again, maybe I'll fill it with CANDY!!! I can't wait to try another of the new decor elements! What a terrific and easy way to decorate your home or even the outside of a scrapbook!

Witch's broom decoration

Here is a sneak peek of the witch's broom that we wil be making at Vicky's party. It is only 1 of 3 projects we're going to make. I may add some Pearl-Ex to it once I get my Aqua painter in! It is a quick and easy home decor project for Halloween.

Stipple Brush card

Well, I recently saw a post showing how to create images using stipple brushes over embossed images, so I just had to try it! I used the Fresh Cuts stamp set to create the card and went with Green Galore, Tempting Turquoise, and Pixie Pink for my colors. It created a really interesting look!
