Snowman card

I don't know what it is about this card, but I just absolutely adore it!  I don't know if it's the snowman or the snowflake in the corner, but it just strikes me.  It is simple, but sweet at the same time.  My color combo is simple - White, black, and cherry cobbler.

Elegant Christmas Greeting card

I still love this color combo I found last year - Always Artichoke and Cherry Cobbler.  It has a vintage and elegant look to it.  Therefore, I thought the vintage wallpaper embossing folder and the pleated ribbon were perfect additions to this card.

Dasher card

And for the next Christmas card, I have a card I made with the Dasher stamp.  I have wanted this stamp for a long while, so finally this past year I got it as a free stamp during Sale-a-Bration.  I tried to stay simple with this one - just a little Riding Hood Red Marker and Smooch are added to the image.

And for the not so simple....Here is where a gazillion glue dots went last week!  My daughter had a project from her kindergarten to make a turkey, so I pretty much let her loose with some of my old supplies.  She certainly made a unique looking turkey!  It was definitely all of her ideas - I just helped out a little bit.  Here are a few things I loved:

Oh, what fun we have together!  A good way to use up some of those old supplies you don't use anymore! 

Delicate Doily Christmas

I love the way this card turned out.  i used the Delicate Doily stamp set along with the dec. 25 from theTags 'Til Christmas stamp set.  For the color combo, I used Cherry Cobbler, Lucky Limeade, and Crumb Cake.  I like that this is Christmasy, but the color combo gives it a fresh, new look.

Delightful Decorations card

My Christmas card stamp-a-stacks are starting up this weekend.  Here is one of the cards I'm going to make.  I used the Delightful Decorations stamp set on this card and some retired Christmas paper from last year.

A Unicorn Birthday Celebration

Where in the world have I been?  Getting ready for my daughter's unicorn birthday party.  She was in charge of nearly everything....she wanted it all a certain way!  For instance, she wanted a unicorn and a 5 on her birthday cake.  Pink icing...polka dots....

And a rainbow on the inside.  This is 1 1/2 cake mixes made into 3 round circle cakes.  I won't tell you how much frosting!  It was yummy, though! 

Here was her original invitation - I watercolored the Pony Party unicorn and added some Smooch to the hearts.  It was just perfect.  That sample was.....

And then I colored 16 more.....and added smooch....expecting the same results.....but the smooch ran and spread everywhere.  It was a disaster!  I had to re-color every single pony except the original! 

So on the second try...I went with a known success - dazzling diamonds.  Always a winner!

I know it's not Christmas yet...BUT, it's a perfect time to MAKE your Christmas cards!! One of the best blessings of paper crafting, is handmaking your Holiday cards! This class was a big hit last year! I think we made over 100 cards in this create-your-own card class!
