Baby Prints scrapbook page

When I saw this sketch over at Create with Connie and Mary, I immediately saw a scrapbook page rather than a card!  I sure am glad, because I was able to create this page with a few darling pictures of my baby Owen when he was just 2 months old.  Just look at those first sweet little smiles!  He’s all smiles all the time (mostly!) now, so it’s precious to remember those moments when they were just beginning to start happening on a regular basis.

Sorry for the glare…I used the Sycamore Street DSP for the page and Sahara Sand for the base of the page.

I decided since this page just focused on him, I would use the Baby Prints stamp set – I stamped the hands in Sahara Sand and the title in Island Indigo.  I added a few of the Tangerine Tango buttons from the Sale-a-bration pack for accents and tied each of those with Pool Party baker’s twine.

Stamps:  Baby Prints

Ink:  Island Indigo, Sahara Sand

Paper:  Sahara Sand, Sycamore Street DSP

Accessories:  Tangerine Tango buttons (SAB), Pool Party Baker’s Twine

Valerie...I just love how you created a scrapbook page with this sketch! I forget that a page is just a larger version of a card! Nice job! Thanks for playing the Create with Connie & Mary challenge this week!

Oh my - what a great idea to use the sketch for a scrapbook page. I really didn't know where to go with it and the scrapbook page would have been perfect. I love that you switched around the rectangles.
Thanks for joining us this week at Create with Connie & Mary.
