I must say...Cherie must love banners just as much as I do! She's had them on the last few layouts at Sassy Lil Sketches and I'm loving them.
I finally took the plunge this weekend and broke out my Party This Way banner stamp and went through the tedious process of cutting around all those little scallops. In my humble opinion, that would be my next punch I would design if I worked for SU. Anyway, since they are a nice big banner size, it thankfully did not take all 12 that I stamped! I just couldn't resist this paper for this picture of my nephew on his first birthday! He was so funny getting blue icing all over him and my my brother, too!
Here's a closeup of the banner as well as the accents. You can somewhat see that I stamped the Party This Way stamp twice - once in Pacific Point and again in Real Red. I cut around the inside edge of the red stamped image and popped it up. I used a material title from K & Company, a rhinestone arrow from Kaisercraft, and a few green accents from another company....SEI? Maybe....can't remember.
Here are my ribbons at the bottom. I added a few rhinestones to that canvas circle and a little popsicle stick that says Life is Sweet on it to the picture...it was just perfect!
Stamps: Party This Way
Ink: Pacific Point, Real Red
Paper: Pacific Point, Celebrations
Accessories: Scallop edge punch, real red polka dot grosgrain ribbon, pacific point striped grosgrain ribbon (All SU), clothespin, baker's twine (Making Memories), material title (K&Company), rhinestones (Kaisercraft), popsicle stick, green canvas sticker and title card
