I've been busy this week, so I'm just catching up on reading my favorite blogs. As I was reading, I noticed that my page was featured for one of the sketches that was produced by Ideas for Scrapbookers. Yeah!
I didn't even realize that last night when I went to put this page together! I used the sketch above and went with the 1,2,3 challenge at The Paper Trail Makers Challenge blog. I had this idea in my head, so it all came together here:
I had these pictures of my daughter at the Trike-a-Thon for St. Jude's Research Hospital. I loved all these various vintage pieces put together for this layout! I used lots of pieces from my Lucky Girl Crafts kit that I won recently - some Cosmo Cricket paper and stickers, some die cuts and ribbons, some Jenni Bowlin Studio journaling paper, and some little die cuts from Pretty Little Studio that I won a few months ago. I added some Baja Breeze Greenhouse Gala DSP, and a little vintage rose to my journaling and a few touches of linen thread. I thought it all came together rather nicely. I don't know why all my pages have been blue and red lately.....hmmm....I'll have to work on that!
