Chick stand

Is this not the cutest little idea?  I saw a similar idea at the Taylored Expressions blog over the weekend and thought to myself, "I can do that with what I have  right here at home!"  It was super quick and easy. 

1.  Cut a large scallop circle out of Pear Pizzazz with your Big Shot.

2.  Use the Circle Scissor cutter to cut a 4 inch circle out of Very Vanilla.

3.  Stamp the branch from the Easter Blossoms stamp set first in Blushing Bride.

4.  Stamp again in Rose Red, slightly off of the first image.

5.  Adhere the vanilla cardstock to the pear scallop circle using Dotto repositionable adhesive and cut a straight edge off the bottom.

6.  Remove and add a small amount of Sticky Strip to the back of the cream cardstock and adhere the Pear Pizzazz seam binding ribbon to the sticky strip. 

7.  Adhere to the the Pear scallop circle with a bit more Sticky Strip.

8.  Tie the ends of the Pear seam binding ribbon to a small piece of drinking straw. 

9.  Add some birdies of your choice - to make peeps stay, you can use some icing - it makes great glue!
